---== Lenscare V1.5.2 for OpenFX - Windows ==---
------------------------------------------------

This software has been developed and tested in Nuke, Fusion Studio and Resolve.
For any questions and suggestions contact me at support (at) frischluft.com

Installation:
-------------

1) Close Host

Please close your host application (i.e. Nuke, Fusion Studio, Resolve)

2) Install files

Copy all files to the OpenFX default Plugins folder:

	c:\Programm Files\Common Files\Ofx\Plugins\

Alternatively you can point the environment variable OFX_PLUGIN_PATH
to a folder of your choice and install the plugins there.

3) (optional) Install License File

On purchase you'd get a key file. This unlocks the plugins from demo mode.
Place it into the same folder the plugins sit. Right next to the .bundles.

Alternatively you can make a folder named frischluft in your user folder
and place the license file in it. On my machine that folders path would be:

	C:\Users\philipp\frischluft

4) Restart your Host

The plugins will now show up in the tool/effect menu under in a folder named Frischluft.
The plugins names themselfes do not contain the word frischluft. But they start with "FL".

Known Problems:
---------------

	Resolve:
	- no user UI handle for picking the focal point

	General:
	- V1.5 changed the parameter scripting names to get rid of spaces. I.E.
"focal distance" now has a scripting name of "focal_distance". This
causes projects in some hosts to break.
I.E. an old project loaded with v1.5 or later will reset all those
parameters to their defaults breaking the project. My apollogies.

In Fusion it is possible to manually correct old projects. You open
the saved project with a text editor and exchange all the spaces in
the parameter by an underscore. Afterwards the project will load
	  correctly with V1.5.

Change log:
-----------

V1.5.2:
	Out of Focus:
	- fixed watermarks

V1.5.1:
	Depth of Field:
	- auto range now takes into consideration "infinite" values and excludes them from range.
renderer often put a very large constant value in the background to indicate infinity.
Auto range no longer uses that value as max range but the second largest.
	- auto range now also sets the display range of black and white point for more convenience
	- fixed greying out of depth range parameters

	Others:
	- UI: All parameters that do not affect the current show mode out are disabled.
This included some parameter groups. The idea is only to grey them out so the user knows.
But Nuke and Fusion also disallowed them to be opened or closed. This was confusing. So groups
are no longer disabled. Only the contained parameters
	- fixed image parameter no longer squeezed in Fusion
	- fixed last version only working in MacOS 11.0 and up. Now again supporting MacOS 10.9 and up
	- fixed inverted y axis bug
	- fixed crashes on some older x86 under windows

V1.5:
	Out of Focus:
	- added option to expand image
	- fixed incorrect iris smooth radius which unfortunately results
in slightly different blurs to the old version when using high smooth values
	- fixed some incorrect border behaviour on left side
	- fix - refraction used to be wrong on the borders when bg layer was different size
	- sped up background distortion
	- background distortion now kicks in only with slightly larger radius to avoid artifacts on radius = 0

	Depth of Field:
	- fixed bug: "take depth from" luminance used to be just the red channel
	- fixed bug when using custom iris. The radius was influenced by the
aspect parameter when it should not have been.
	- fixed custom iris aspect ratio bug
	- fixed crash when using custom iris

	- moved to new code base

V1.4.8
	- updated Mac version to support apple silicon

V1.4.7
	- fixed crash in Fusion v16 when picking focal distance in depth of field plugin
	- MacOS 10.15 Comatibility added by adding certification and notarization

V1.4.6
	- fixed crash on Threadripper cpus

V1.4.5
	- MacOS: fixed a problem with a library dependancy that prevented loading of plugins in some cases
	- MacOS: now delivered as universal binary because some hosts do not load from the 64 bit folder as defined by the ofx std
	- license file can now also be placed in 'frischluft/' within the users home folder
	- fix for selection where brightness is > 1

V1.4.4
    - added custom iris to depth of field (beta status)
    - using host threading now instead of own.
	- improved stability

V1.4.3:
	- changed naming scheme to 'FL Plugin Name' to avoid confusion with existing plugins

V1.4.2:
	- improved stability

V1.4.1:
	- added 64Bit Linux support
	- added Macintosh PowerPC support.
	- Depth of Field: fixed some artefacts that occurred depending on a "bad"
radius, iris shape and depth buffer combination
	- Depth of Field: fixed potential crash with many cores in low memory conditions
	- Depth of Field: improved behaviour with large and odd core count.
3 Core cpus for example will be used more efficiently now.
	- fixed an alignment problem with the Blend layer
	- fixed a problem where OfxImageEffectActionGetRegionsOfInterest caused
a bug and log output on some hosts. It didn't do any harm but was annoying.

	Compatibility updates:

	Digital Fusion:
	- worked around a problem where connecting the Blend Input upset Fusion so
it would crash or behave in weird ways. Worked around it by renaming the
Blend layer to "Blend Clip" only in Digital Fusion.
